Dear Creative Community,

On behalf of North Fork Valley Creative Coalition, we hope you are doing well during these uncertain times. We are thinking about you and are here to support you. We are following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization, and our local and state governments.

Our monthly Pop-Up Art Gallery and Final Friday Frolics Art Walk have been postponed until further notice. Many businesses in Paonia Creative District are closed and/or limiting services as well. Many industries are negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including our local restaurants, bars, theaters, schools, art centers, etc. If you are able to order take-out food, purchase a gift certificate, or make a donation to a nonprofit, we encourage you to do so. Many local artists are losing revenues from cancelled art shows, festivals, and performances. Check out our online Creative Directory to connect with local businesses and artists who need your support.

We have compiled a list of emergency relief funds and resources to help ease your financial burdens during this time. We will continue to research opportunities for you. Should you wish to reach out to us, our director can be reached by e-mailor phone at (970) 275-3453.

We are stronger together and will most certainly find time to gather in the months to come. Be well.

Creatively yours,

Susie Kaldis Lowe, Executive Director
Sara Rodriguez, President
Kaspar Keil, Vice-President
Heidi Hudek, Treasurer
Josh Paigen, Secretary
