Housed in the historic Curtis Hardware Building, Second Story Studios is a working studio and gallery located in downtown Paonia above the Blue Sage Center for the Arts. The space is shared by visual artists: Spencer Mahaffey Lightfoot who works in watercolors, creating colorful watercolor mosaics (some representational, some not); Shannon Richardson who works in oils creating fantastical imagery full of creature and emotion; and Nolan Lightfoot who works in acrylics depicting scenes of daily life in the North Fork Valley in a fresh and unique way.
