North Fork Valley Creative Coalition is a nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to foster the development of a vibrant creative community and diverse economy in the North Fork Valley of Delta County, Colorado. We envision a thriving community where art and ag meet. We fulfill our mission through the following goals:
- Encouraging artists and creative entrepreneurs to find their homes here
- Revitalizing and beautifying our downtown Creative District
- Celebrating and strengthening our community’s unique identity and heritage
- Attracting more visitors to the area
- Showcasing cultural and artistic organizations, events and amenities
- Enhancing and preserving a quality of life here that is very special
2021 Accomplishments:
- Hired a Marketing and Vendor Coordinator
- Continued to grow our membership
- Represented the creative industries on the One Delta Economic Alliance board
- Promoted Final Friday Frolics monthly artwalks
- Sent monthly newsletters promoting local business and events
- Actively posted on Instagram and Facebook
- Represented Paonia in the Colorado Creative Corridor partnership
- Hosted several successful fundraisers
- Hosted three Saturday Markets in the Summer
- Commissioned a mural at Poulos Park
- Worked with Town of Paonia to commission a sign at Poulos Park
- Co-hosted Dia de Los Muertos
- Hosted the 29th Annual Paonia Holiday Art Fair
2022 Goals:
- Publish a print Creative Directory
- Actively promote our members & grown our membership
- Rework our online creative directory
- Maintain our certified Creative District status
- Commission a new sign at the corner of 3rd Street & Grand Ave
- Work on a sculpture program for Paonia Creative District
- Host a new downtown Summer Fair in June
- Work with Mountain Harvest Creative on Mountain Harvest Festival in September
- Host the 30th Annual Paonia Holiday Art Fair in December
